On the last day of term, one of the boys in our class brought a dinosaur modelling kit in for show and tell. It had been a gift from Father Christmas and he wanted to make them at school so that he could share them with his friends. This is typical of the children in our class. One little girl has been wrapping all kinds of items and handing them out to her friends for the last two weeks (with permission from her mum!) So many children bring things in from home to share, for examples sheets of stickers, which they take great pleasure in letting the other children choose from. Our school ethos of generosity comes through in so much of what they do, but I wanted to celebrate it especially at this time of year, when it is all about the giving. Miss Elliott and I hope they all liked their little gifts and would like to say a big thank you for ours too. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year x
