Intent:
PE lessons at Ingham Primary School aim to develop a fun, high quality PE curriculum that inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sports and other physically demanding activities. We provide pupils with opportunities to become physically confident
in a way which supports their health and fitness. Our children will have opportunities to compete in sport and other activities that build character and embed the values of fairness and respect as well as developing habits for a healthy lifestyle that children will
take with them into adulthood. We are passionate about the need to teach children how to cooperate and collaborate with others as part of a team.

Implementation:
Pupils at Ingham Primary School participate in weekly high quality PE and sporting activities. We provide opportunities for all children to engage in extra-curricular activities both during and after school, in addition to sporting events. This is an inclusive approach which endeavours to develop and foster well-bring for all our pupils.
