Welcome to Maple class!

We are the Year 3/4 class at Ingham Primary School. This year, we will be studying a range of exciting topics in our lessons: Dynamic Earth, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, Stone Age to Iron Age and The Romans. We will be enhancing our learning through trips to Creswell Crags, The Collection and a trail around Roman Lincoln. Linked to these topics, we will be reading some engaging texts, including Beowulf, How to Train Your Dragon, Stig of the Dump and Escape from Pompeii.

Reminders

• Our homework is set on Fridays and due back in on Wednesday. This is usually a set of spellings linked to the pattern taught in class and number-based maths.
• Our PE days are Wednesday and Thursday. Pupils should come to school in their PE kit on Wednesday and bring swimming kit on Thursday – please note that only stud earrings are allowed and must be covered in earring tape for our PE lessons and that long hair is tied back.
• We encourage children to read their reading book every day and to log on to Times Tables Rock Stars or Numbots – 3 minutes a day is all it takes to learn your tables! Please encourage your child to bring their reading book to school every day.
