We have begun our topic this week by learning about bread, as the Great Fire of London started in a bakery on Pudding Lane. On Monday we tasted bread and carried out a survey to see which we liked best. Then on Tuesday we looked at the ingredients that are used to make bread to find out which were healthy and then on Wednesday we made bread. We made a gluten free loaf, a whole meal and white. Then we tasted our bread to see which we liked the best! Next week we will use all this information to make our own design and then after we have been to Waitrose we will make our own loaf of bread!
